    Hi folks,

Just a quick question, considering I'm hearing so many conflicting bits from different folk.

If an employer is to sponsor me for a 457 visa, assuming that they do all the paperwork from their side, what do I need to provide with my application by means of references and all that stuff?

    Thanks in advance

Off the top of my head and from what I remember I provided:

Written references - as many as you can
    Proof of Education
    Birth certificate
    Photocopy of passport
    Resume
    Copy of your work contract

All of the above need to stamped and signed by a Justice of the Peace

Also you have to get chest x-rays done but they take care of that side of things

If you look up the government website i'm pretty sure there is a checklist you can read
