    Hi,

Im just wondering if you can help me,

My BF is due to pay €4000 in College Fees i know he recieves a small grant, however i have fell pregnant and really €4000 savings going on a college course would be a waste, there isnt much point in him leaving as there is no jobs,

I want to know is there anyway he doesnt have to pay fees or can get help in doing so?

    Any help would be appreciated!

Not sure if this is the correct forum for this issue. Why is it that he has to pay fees? Has he already gotten a degree? As far as I was aware any EU resident is exempt from paying college fees in Ireland unless they have already completed some kind of degree course. Is it a private college?

No he is 21 and he had started a course 2 years ago maybe and dropped out and went back in september, its super bad timing on all parts and the last thing i want is to be scrounging moneys but if he is entitled to some sort of relief it would be superb! Its an I.T and he is doing a business managment degree!

The St Vincent de Paul give education grants to people. If he contacts their Head Office (01-8550022) they will arrange for the local conference to visit him and discuss the application process.
