Then take him to the aquarium

I don't care that it's not particularly christmassy. aquariums rock.

Bring him to the Christmas Day swim in Salthill and watch the people getting in.
Maybe even try to get him in the water :D

    Can't iceskate:o
We've done the aquarium to death, though I must agree it rocks.
Xmas day we're out of town.
Was hoping to show him the'magic of Christmas' without the dreaded trip to Santa-I'm a bit of a 'bah humbug' myself so was hoping for an easy done and dusted way out.
Anyone know anything about Christmas Wonderland fair on at Salthill?

Have you seen a child recently after they've consumed 12 Club Oranges?? They're worse than the clientele coming out of Coyote's at 2am!!:P

take him ice skating anyway. you can wear shoes and just help him skate :P

If you don't start him early he'll never get to play for the Giants!

Live crib at the Cathedral. Hell, every other kid in town seems to be visiting.

I wonder, could we get to 12 playgrounds of Christmas in Galway:

1 Millennium playground (just up the road from the Cathedral)
2 Isn't there one in Shantalla somewhere
    3 ???

Candidates include one in Knocknacarra along the road from Joyces, one in Doughiska, umm ...

    Take a look at: http://www.mykidstime.ie/index.php
Set your region to Galway and it'll tell you some stuff that's on - you might find something there

We're heading to Bridget's Garden in Moycullen for a Seasonal afternoon. Not cheap but the quality there is always excellent. They don't do Santa there so there is a less materialistic look at Christmas.
