    Hi all,

We can't help you unless you give us a lot more info mate.
Anything can cause interferance that would degrade your speeds, and have nothing to do with UPC.

    Are you using wireless?

Have you tried a direct cabled connection?
(That means directly from the modem into the pc, not from a router into it)

    Also, I never trust speedtest.net.
It's in no way accurate in Ireland.
    speedtest.magnet.ie
That'll be the most accurate you'll get.

Also, if it is an issue with UPC, you'd need to narrow it down more than just Dublin 15.
UPC's network doesn't tie into area codes.
It could be an issue on just your street for instance.

Try all the things mentioned above.
    Direct cabled connection, speedtest.magnet.ie.
If you're still noticing the speed drop.
    Call UPC.
