Replacing large Lidl sat dish with mini mesh?

It looks like the large (80cm?) dish which came with our Lidl kit is damaged and I'm thinking of replacing it with a mesh dish as it's in a very exposed area. My question is, will the mini-mesh dish found in Maplin be good/big enough to replace it? We only watch the British channels on Astra 2.

I'd recommend you go with a 60cm dish to avoid problems with rain fade.

+1 With what Tony said, a 60cm dish is the only way to go, a smaller dish will work but will suffer in very bad weather conditions.
