Give A Letter When Leaving A Job>

    When leaving a job, is it appropriate (or expected) to give them a letter saying thank you for their employment...? I have to leave a job due to college so there's no bad feelings or anything, so should I give them a letter to say thanks?

    Usually your resignation would be in the format of a letter to the effect of "here's my notice of leaving as of xyz. It's been fun but I have to leave to further my education. All the best."

    Not a separate letter, just add it to the resignation letter:
