Not sure about you guys, but this is fandom gold to me. Someone has released the writers guide for Batman: TAS. Having a quick thumb through it at the moment, but I'll be hitting it in more detail tomorrow.

Oooooooooh, shiny! Now, if only they'd release the entire series on Region 2 DVD. (Seriously, I don't understand the thinking there - it's like the people who sell the DCAU stuff are allergic to my money or something. But that's another thread...)

Neato. I appreciate the series more now. Didn't really take the time for it first time round. Unlike Batman Beyond/of the Future.

Specifically the entire boxset or at least just volumes 3 to get those last nine episodes?

Well, at least you can buy the Spider-Man series everyone likes now. ;)

I'd like the entire boxset tbh, I'd happily watch the extra material like the documentary that's supposed to be on the extra disc. Even at that, just getting them to releasing the last DVD of TAS and the collection of The New Batman Adventures on Region 2 DVD would be a smart move. At the moment I can either spring for a region-free player and buy the Region 1 releases or go down the Naughty Clicky route. Hardly ideal when it's material that I'm happy to pay for.

Really? I've never checked, just assumed they were locked as every time I looked them up on Amazon etc there's a massive warning about them being region 1. That'd be great if you could check your set and let me know.

Didn't they release a magnificent complete series boxset in the States recently? I have the two series that have come out here, it's so irritating that the rest haven't come out.

Ah no bother - thanks for checking anyway. Mr K, I've seen the complete box set listed on Amazon a few times and it looks great, hopefully Time Warner will eventually realise that our money is as good as anyone else's (heck, given the state of the dollar vs the euro I'm surprised they aren't releasing a load more stuff to get people spending...)
