the council recently bought a bungalow on 1 acre in a rural area and have housed the biggest pack of scumbags you will ever meet in it..the bungalow is situated on a road where there are several houses ..animals run wild, litter and filth now have replaced a beautiful area where home owners have pride in the appearance of their homes and garden....how is it, the council do this- lumbering decent homeowners with sh//bags

Have you spoken to the people or the council directly?

People are scum. It's a shame, but you'll find them everywhere.

There's two council estates near here - one is horrible, grim, and quite unnerving to be in.

The other, just five minutes down the road is lovely, well-kept and feels very safe to walk around. Even here there was a brutal murder earlier this year.

I wouldn't object to them living round here, they need a home. It just depends on the people. It's amazing how a very small group of people can drag down an area.. the vast majority of those "pack of scumbags" might well be decent, law-abiding people.

Get a copy of 'BBC Sound Effects Volume 4' and position some stereo speakers in a tree situated closeby, then proceed to convince them that there's a beast on the loose

That'll get rid of 'em. Or at least fcuk up their sheep

Best advice yet, Im pretty sure this will work, but on the off chance it doesn't get onto the council and report them, sooner rather than later, gather evidence of there behaviour and submit to council, Im sure the council can evict them for anti social nowadays.

A bungalow on an acre site? Fcuking hell that's some bit of land for one council house.

op I think you should write them a well worded letter describing your problems with them.

Then hand deliver it and stand there until they read it....

the council recently bought a bungalow on 1 acre in a rural area

Why s the OP presuming that we all know where exactly this rural area is, and, indeed, to which local authority it refers?

I propose that it be moved with indecent and pedantic haste to the relevant forum?

    Cheers.

OP's right, he explained in detail where is was:
situated on a road where there are several houses

Offer them a job, they will instantly disappear.

The old "Not in my back yard" argument, they have to be housed somewhere but just nowhere near me.

But i agree OP, we should get an uninhabited island and dump all the scumbags, druggies, sex offender and ginger people there.

I actually used to live in the village where that happened! It's gone to the dogs since we left though. Arsonists running riot. These ignorant little peasants just seem to go mental without the good influence of their betters:(

    Doh, Tom.

That's why he called the thread Council Housing.

    To expressly avoid such confusion.

Things will be better when we all start living in gated compounds, nothing better at keeping out the poor, zombies and the Palestinians, hurling their stones in hateful derision.
