    Hi Guys

Has any one become a sage business partner, just looking on some feedback as I see you need to make an upfront investment of 5K.

I was looking at this myself, But sceptical about how long it would take to recover the €5k. If you get any further independent information poolfc id be interested in hear it.

€5k. - If you contact Sage and express an interest in this area , they are very interested.

I know that big discounts can be negotiated from them outside of this, especially if you are an accountant.

Geting the Sales in the current climate is the real problem as all SME's are adopting a what we have will do approach.

    PM me for further information.

    Regards,

I want to apologise to boards users. my last post wasn't helpful to anyone and was stupid.

I am a sage Business Partner and have been since 2001. I have built a very decent business with the assistance of Sage at all levels.

The last year has been extremely competive and it has been extremely difficult to maintain margins but I have manged to keep my staff employed which i'm grateful for and our clients have been extremely supportive.

We do sometimes find ourselves competing with Sage Direct as much as we compete with other Sage Business Partners and other Accounting and Payroll manufacturers.

It would be very important to have done your market research in the area you are looking at setting up.

I would be more than happy to respond to any questions anyone has.

With any Market Economy it is important to be competitive.

That is the nature of captialism am afraid.

Remember always conduct your business with integrity but there is nothing wrong with being sharp in business.

The the OP - your question would be better suited the Business Forums as this forum relates to accounting queries and examination questions for students.
