Hey folks sorry we had intended to put two tickets for the voodoo game on the 23 rd into the prizepool on Sunday , it was a great but very busy night so we over looked to do so . as a result our spots were as usual last lady, high hand and trophy . We will however ADD one to fridays game in Clonmel as a prize for a last longest comp for boards players .Reg here to qualify.

why is there there such a big jump in the prize money from second and first

I guess it s a bit high but usually there s a chop of some sort , first includes a €1000 grand final ticket with a €100,000 guaranteed . This time however the winner had 90% of the chips so 2nd 3rd and 4th did a chop between them as Barry could not be touched.

From what i heard it was a very funny chop. I heard that 2nd, 3rd and 4th just gave the guy 1st place and the ticket. Then they chopped 2nd, 3rd and 4th and played for the trophy.

If this was true it seems like one of the craziest deals ive ever heard.

90% of the chips or not, I find it hard to believe that 1st place prize money + the ticket could have been conceded. Nobody would agree to that.

If you didn't play the event it shouldn't concern you. At least players showed up & didn't allow some light frost prevent them. Prof. Power is right.

Well its good to talk but yep you did need to be there the man could not be stopped he had at least 90% and had knocked out anyone he got into a hand with , second place nearly bucked the trend but to no avail in the end , but all that aside it might have been a bit top heavy but i think when you win you should win well ,;)
