    Can I order a sky viewing card without any equipment in Ireland?

    You can, you'd be looking to pick up a second hand contract.
    But you will have to activate the card in an official Sky receiver.

    ...and call SKY to get the card activated from an Irish phone (mobile or landline) as they do randomly check where the call originates from. Otherwise use the hide number option when you give them the activation call.

    You also need to get data from the actual box you are going to use so write all these down before calling them as well.
