Hi am a sad kiwi and not much into rugby! I have a Munster fan at home who would like to see Munster play in Thomond Park. Was thinking of getting the magners league three pack (has matches against Glasgow Warriors, Leinster and Ospreys.) Would anyone recommend this and also what is the best seats in Thomond to catch the atmosphere and see the game?

For atmosphere you cant go wrong with the terraces. But if you prefer seating then either of the 2 stands will suffice. Im not quite sure if you can choose where abouts you sit exactly but anywhere in either stand is just fine, the view is brilliant everywhere. My preference is to get seats as high as possible because it gives you a much better view of the entire field and its much easier to follow the game and keep an eye on the tactical side of things. If however you just want to go and watch your favourite players play rugby then the high seats arent the best because its very hard to make out who is who at times (tho my eyesight aint the best). All the same, no matter where you end up you will enjoy the Thomond park experience.

The Leinster game especially would be worth going to. For atmosphere, apart from Leinster and Ulster, the Magners games can be quiet enough in Thomond. The Ospreys could be good as it is near the end of season and both teams could be fighting for a playoff place, also would be alot of Internationals/Lions on the pitch.

Definitely try to get tickets for the Leinster match. Wonderful atmosphere.

The terraces are good craic but you will be totally exposed to the elements.

The view is great anywhere the stand, doesn't if you are in the centre or the ends of wither stand.

Don't get tickets that are too high up though. Better craic if you're in the centre of the crowd.

Tickets have a single letter row ("A", "L") are low, tickets with a double letter row ("AA", "KK") are high.

Go for East terrace Sth or East terrace Nth if available, if not head for the West sections 1, 2, 3 or 4. If not then maybe consider stand tickets.
