Aye, amazing game. Really good narrative as well as some extremely satisfying gameplay. That ending was astounding, it was a real case "Oh wait... so that means...... no. freakin. way"

Anybody know what time this is set to appear?

So excellent, just when you get comfortable with each special "mechanic" it throws something new at you. Superb ending too.

Honestly if there is someone sitting on the fence about getting this, go for it!

Probably out on Thursday evening as part of the regular PSN update.

Lucky people getting to play this for the first time *waves fist*

The deserved posterboy for art and storytelling in games, and perhaps the only game I have ever played that has managed to combine the (usually entirely separate) elements of storytelling and gameplay in that wonderful ending.

Thought it was massively overhyped myself... Never felt at all compelled to complete it

You missed an amazing ending then. Completely flips everything you'd thought about the fairly typical story the game alluded to on its head. The use of time distortion to explain this was also excellently done.

For me though the artstyle was fantastic, and the gameplay was satisfying... but the real surprise was that they didn't just paste on top of this a throwaway storyline.

Forgot I had spare MSP and have never played this - is it cheaper for Playstation or Xbox?

Its cheaper on Steam I would think?

Dunno for certain but it has probably gone down in price on the 360 by now.

Just started playing this now. Can anyone tell me do you have to collect all the pieces in each room or do you go back to get them later in the game ?

EDIT: Never mind i think i figured it out. Kinda confusing to start with.

Everything you need to get the puzzle pieces in the rooms is in the rooms themselves. I was of the same mind initially. I couldn't figure out how to get some of the pieces at the start so I assumed I'd unlock some power later on and then come back and get it. This isn't the case.

Some of the lateral thinking needed to solve some of the later puzzles is excellent, and that's not even touching on the diabolical hidden puzzles (you probably won't even find more than 1 of them on your first play through, you've probably already passed a few of them without knowing it)

The first (or second?) one I haven't even attempted. Any other Braid players who know of it will understand why... it's a joke. A real "you can't be serious" moment.
