Sockets For Computers

Should i be putting sockets that i am wireing for compters be put on their own Seperate RCBOs??and if so what is the main reason to do so? i just seen another electrician reccomand it an another thread..

For commercial jobs yes, but if this is for a domestic job I'd sooner use this.

Normally i would fit an rcbo for a 'home office' to avoid loss of data/nuisance.
You can fit basic surge protection at the 'board' and locally for internal surges or UPS.Depends on the job really

It is a good idea, although as most people are working off laptops (which will keep running on battery) now anyway probably not as big of an issue.

Worth doing if someone has a few desktops or a serious home office.
