Iphone not accepting Sim

So I had to restore my Iphone and now whenever I connect it to Itunes it tells me the Sim card isnt being accepted. It also says I can only make emergency calls but Im able to make and receive regular calls. Anyone know what I can do so that it will accept the sim?

Was your iPhone unlocked, if so you will have to unlock it again
