New Years Eve in Westport

    gang of 16 of us heading to westport for new years, im presuming the pubs etc will be jammers, does anyone down there know do you have to buy tickets in advance for places like matt molloys and the castlecourt nightclub?

    Yes, Westport will be busy on NYE - always is. Matt Molloys will fill up early. AFAIK there isn't a ticket system there.

    Tickets are required for the Castlecourt nightclub.

    For the more spiritually minded there will be a candlelight vigil at Murrisk carpark earlier that evenning.

    As Westport would like to win the Tidy Towns competition again this year if you do collapse through being tired and emotional, try to lie to attention parallel with the kerb. The Tidy Town patrols will collect you later.
