Jackie Skelly are giving free one day trials of their gyms till the end of the month. They've apparently got some special offers on as well. I'm going to try it our tomorrow in Ballsbridge so I'll report back if it's good or not.

Make sure you count your fingers afterwards if they shake hands with you, they have a terrible rep.

Dreadful bunch had all sorts of problems cancelling with them. I'd avoid doing business with them if I were you.

    Ooh I like this idea.

I went to one of these supposed "free trials" and was haunted by calls for months afterwards.

I eventually told the guy to piss off and never f'in call me again. They still call me to this day.

    Should've used someone else's number :D

Just to echo what everyone else says. Jackie Skelly have the worst reputation, not just for a gym, but for any Irish company I have ever heard of. Stay away from them unless you are happy to become a lifetime customer

Never, ever give them your phone number!
Their sales team will call you several times a week

Well I managed to not go to my free trial but after all the comments here I'm bloody glad!

I wasn't planning on joining though, just using their gym and never returning. Mwahahah!

Although they do now have my number... rats!

They're the biggest shower of ****ers ever. Do not give any personal details. I get ca;;s from them every couple of days. They just don't get the message.

I had them try to wreck my head with phonecalls last year. On the third call the sales guy asked why I didnt want to sign up. I said it was because I didn't think Jackie Skelly gyms could compete on price with my current gym. He said that they were very competitive on price and asked how much I was paying a year in my current gym. The answer was €75- I use Trinity College's gym as a student member. They never rang again :D
