What's the rules on getting into the pit for the O2.
    I know it's the first x number, normally 1,000 ?

But do you have to have a standing ticket to start with
or can you have a seating ticket ?

Not every gig has a pit there.
Muse for example did while Kasabian/Arctic Monkeys didnt.

And you have to have a a standing ticket, theres not a hope in hell getting into the standing area with a seating ticket

It's actually very easy to get downstairs with a seated ticket but for fear of banning/infraction I shall not mention how to. But very easy to do. But not a hope of getting a pit pass once you're downstairs.

Oh so that's how it works! Hadn't been to the O2 before and couldn't understand why there was two different standing areas.

For the record, we had seated tickets to Paramore at the weekend and I asked one of the guys on the inner doors if we could go into the standing area and he said "no problem, it's the people with standing tickets who aren't allowed in the seating area" ... but that could be because they had that reserved standing area thing going on.

Wouldn't be bothered (for myself) with a gig that has that.

Right....so by their logic, what if a decent chunk of the people with seated tickets decided to head down to the floor? Can't see that ending well
