On my PC here at home there are 2 users

One user works fine - this is what I am currently using to post this message

If I switch users nothing works. each time I try to launch something I get a message about the .exe file being infected. A pop-up directs me to a site to purchase protection.

    I was downloading bit torrents.

    Any suggestions?
