Peacoat + Hoodie (hide the hood?)

Is there any way to wear a hoodie under a peacoat without it ruining the lines of the coat? It looks sloppy sticking out from the collar (IMO) and like a hunchback if I try and stuff it down beneath the collar. Can they work nicely together or is it just a case of pick one or the other to wear?

I have the same problem but haven't found a proper way around it. Sometimes a scarf worn over the top hides the hood, otherwise I just wear a top that doesn't have a hood :P
