Came home this evening and plainclothes cops had pulled a guy on the street. They were driving a '02 Punto with blue light in the windscreen. Either the re****ion has really taken hold or those guys are "deep under cover"

Well they would be a bit obvious if they all drove around in 09 Mondeo`s of the exact same color :pac:

It did strike me as odd but I wasn't gonna stop and ask them for ID. Both "veeehikels" were wrong way on a one way street, they had radios and were searching the van they had stopped. Big culchie accent on one of them was a bit of a giveaway.

Could it have been a fiesta? I know they drive these. Last thing I can think of is i know they have reconnassance *erm spell check* vehicles that are bog standard.

I went to the pub afterwards and spotted the van they had stopped, it was a chinese guy delivering pizza, the van was a beat up old escort.
It was deffo a '02 punto, hard to confuse with a fiesta.

Lads, don't mistake 'unmarked' for 'undercover'. There is a world of difference.
