Hi guys, searched the forum but not many posts on the matter! Anyone got an opinion on a good scanner? Less than €100 preferable, unless it's got very cool fancy new features or something!
I see Steyr uses an Yupiteru MVT7100, is this still good or are there later models?
    Thanks!

I did alot of research on scanners this time last year before buying. I bought the Icom IC-R20 and it is fantastic.

A cheap and cheerful scanner is a Maycom AR 108, Uniden have a few for under €100, have a look at this site for a few prices http://www.rocketradio.co.uk/hand-held-scanners-297-c.asp

I've got a basic uniden handheld that cost about 80 and does the job grand. Don't expect miracles from a small antanae but it should let you hear most of what you want.
