Satellite - Management Company (WRONG SECTION POSSIBLY)

    Gents,

    My satellite receiver has stopped working the last two days.

    Upon inspection, the only thing remaining is the bar that held the satellite up followed by the two coax cables - both have their heads cut off but remain on top of the four storey complex. The lightweight cables have not blown off the roof thus I do not think the satellite dish blew off either.

    Question: I have not received ANY complaints from the MC about the satellite dish. I can however, confirm that a guy from the company was called because the door to the top of the building was rattling. The day he checked the door was the same day the dish went down. Why the hell you'd trash a satellite dish is beyond me.

    Shall I proceed further?

    Of course you do.

    Contact the management company and ask if they have any idea what happened your dish and cable. If they have taken it, ask for it back, it's your property not theirs.

    The door was rattling? I know it's a long shot but maybe it was stolen? Possibly? You won't know anything really until you ask.

    The satellite was definately not stolen as one of the neighbours confirmed that the MC had a handyman onsite the day the satellite stopped working. The satelllite is about 4 foot away from the "rattly door".

    I would have expected a letter / note from the MC if they're was an issue with the Satellite Dish but didn't receive any. I will call tomorrow and update the status when I have more info.
