How many people have discovered that the stamps that were deducted from their pay packets every week were never actually paid to the Government ?

A friend of mine who was working for the local jumped-up builder discovered that Social Welfare had no record of his stamps when he went to sign on.

Social Welfare can investigate this for you. You need to give a statement, the Social Welfare Inspector can then follow up, and get your record adjusted correctly if needs be.
