Just realised as well that all 3 of my favs come from boards ac members. Memberships for 2010 now available. If we could get a few more women to join I'd be a happy woman (and might persuade Woddle to order some singlets that don't get me arrested for indecent exposure).

I really liked this one as there was a great vibe on the day and this couple summed it up

I like this one as the Bazman gave everything for the chance of a medal in the 10,000 T&F champs, the drama that was unfolding, Fagan dropped out, did Bazman make his move too early, just a brill race to watch

The road relays and again another dramatic finish but excellent viewing for the spectator

Almost too many to choose from amongst the IMRA photos (well done John Sheils), but a beautifully descriptive photo is the one on page 7 of the IMRA yearbook (I've no link), showing the extent of the field during this summers Lucnacoille race, with PeterX leading the great John Lenihan, in a race which Peter would ultimately win. I know so many of those pale coloured dots that snake their way along the course behind them (indeed I'm one of them), but the focused intensity on two mens faces stands out amongst the striking background of everyones personal battle to conquer that vista of that hill.

These are great pics. I love the one of the two guys wasted on the track. It looked like a race/fight to the death. Lots of great stuff, thanks.

Found it. It's higher quality and more focused in the yearbook. http://www.imra.ie/photos/view/id/31418/

Brilliant idea. We need a poll for this. I'm 100% behind Robin's pair of brilliant Brazilians ;)

The title of the picture was 'they couldn't be real'. Implying that is what the guys are thinking.

Another goody from the imra vault this year. Stephen Scullion, who ran a good race in the Euro CC today, won the imra World trail in Crone wood.

I must be 'tick. I don't get it either. Is it a comment on the size of his ears?

It's a "psych-out" tactic. Yer man is green is showing off his splits from his Garmin, 10x1000@2:45.

This is one I like to look back on from 2009. A happy crew in a nice place. A few Boards people in there too.

Wasn't until I went looking through the various race pictures I've taken over the last year looking for what might be my favorite one that I noticed that was actually one of mine. :o

You could almost see a look of disbelief on the faces of the guys behind when they eventually went past wondering WTF Brian Maher was up to going off like that. :D

I quite like this one as well, taken about a minute after from the same spot, but just showing the mass of humanity doing something good for themselves:

    3956026054_173c537300.jpg

...and another one from a bit further round the course. I got a bit lucky that I actually managed to get him fully in the shot, tricky to judge the shot with moving targets, and before all the empty water cups littered the street which appeared in the photos I got of everyone else at that spot:

    3956231008_a001c4f096.jpg

That's enough pictures by me for now, I'm back off to look at the picture of me in the OP. :D

Your off to have a look at a Brazilian??? :D

I reckon we do need a poll on these photos just to satisfy Robinph's curiosity.
