My mates and I were planning on seeing Avatar in the belfast imax for the full experience, but the website doesn't exist anymore. Has it shut down?

Friend of mine who works for the BBC says he's going to see Avatar on Monday in the 3d IMAX in the Odyssey...so I doubt it.

I'm on the hunt for info aswell. Any other 3d imax screens in Ireland?

I was just in Belfast, in Victoria Square. I saw Avatar in 3D being advertised but didn't see any "IMAX" signs. Rest assured if I did I'd have bought tickets right there!

Lemme know if someone can confirm that there's an IMAX in Belfast. I thought the Belfast IMAX shut down a few years ago and was never replaced. (same as here in Dublin :()

I'm fairly certain the IMAX in Belfast is no more. The cinema at the Odyssey is now called Storm

Smyth - It seems the guy from the BBC has been misinformed unfortunately.
