lsass.exe Removal

    I believe I have picked up a trojan: lsass.exe

    This is sometimes a trojan, sometimes a system file.

    I've tried deleting it, but you know Windows, like to play admin itself.

    Two questions;

    1. How can I confirm this is a trojan, and not the system file? It showed up in an AVG scan but didn't delete? It's also trying to send outbound connections through my firewall, suggesting it is malware, as its never tried to do this before.

    2. How do I remove it? Can't delate it manually, not even from cmd prompt or System Folder. Sorry, more familiar with Linux in this sense, so might be missing some step, but as far as I can see Windows is the boss in this relationship, not me. I'm on the Admin account, but it is still giving access denied, bla, bla.

    Thanks in advance.
