    Hi,
I'm thinking of buying a 2009 model Focus cayo 105 from wiggle but i'm just wondering does anyone know if they are likely to drop their prices in 2010 as it will be seen as the previous years model.
    thanks.

    considering this model exists
    http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/cycle/7/Focus_Cayo_105_2010_Ltd_Edition/5360045298/

(look familiar its basically the 2009 model)

i think wiggle sourced them from the factory so i doubt theres a huge pile of 2009 models they are desperately trying to get rid of

You don't need to discount a huge seller like the Cayo. Probably they will sell of the crazy sizes (the very smallest and largest) at some stage but I wouldn't hold my breath.

They do drop the prices of the bikes but at some point I think they stop and ship whatever is left back to Germany. I remember in the sales last year, one day they had "10+" of a particular Focus and the next day they were all discontinued. I guess they can't have the previous year sitting up there for ever at an enormous discount, it would impede sales of the next model year.

ok thanks guys ...the only reason i ask is because they had a further 10% off them in September but the company i work for didn't have the cycle to work scheme in place then. i thought maybe they could apply it again in January to clear the '09 models.
