    does anyone know where to buy a freeview box in the dublin area,i believe they auto-update and have a 7 day programme guide which sounds handy:pac:

    Freeview is UK terrestrial digital TV and, unless you have a substantial antenna and a sea view, you're unlikely to pick it up in Dublin.
    Freesat is UK digital satellite TV. You can get a Sat4Free box in Powercity which is the same thing. I got one and its the mutts nuts; 7 day EPG, self updating, tune in manual channels. Or you can get an official Freesat box from the UK.

    Richer sounds are in Belfast. If you are near North Dublin Freesat.ie in fairview will sell you one.

    it'll do Mpeg4 and Mpeg2

    Thats a freeview box and I think the op needs a Freesat box .Freeview is terrestrial freesat is satellite.
