Buying mudguards - SKS Race Blade Mudguards - the ones to get?

I've heard these mentioned a lot - the ones to get I guess? Also which size have ppl bought?

This is for a road bike? 700 x 18-23c does up to 25c easily, don't get the bigger one.

Thanks, yea its for the trek with 700x23's. I thought the larger size might be a bit too much.

If you are running it with 23s worth considering the Mr Crud guards which gives more coverage. Mixed reviews though a lot of fans. More effort to attach while the SKS are 2 second on or off if that matters to you.

I find they damage the seat stay paint work unless you get the sticky plastic protector in exactly the right place

You can always add some other kind of protector, but mine are on a bike which I'm not so bothered about any more.
