Got a Lidl satellite dish & receiver Freeview package a couple of years ago, & after a while the dish gave out (plastic arm bends in the wind), so now two years later I plan to keep the Silvercrest SL65 receiver & add a new shiny 60cm Dish courtesy of Power City :)

Is it a goer? will the Power City (Labgear) dish marry-up with the old Silvercrest receiver?

I really hope so, now that I have bought the dish .................

Well, if you've already bought it - why not try it?

The dish is standard kit. The LNB is standard kit, and mounting it is the only problem, but if both were bought together that should not be a problem.

I, too, bought a Lidl SL65 kit, but had no problems with the dish (60cm) once it was moved to avoid the direct gusts of gale force wind in its previous location. It did move a few weeks ago, but just nodded down a little, very easy to reset.

I think the 80cm dish is too big for the flimsey mounts supplied, but a set of sturdy mounts may be enough to make it usable. Given its low price, a great bit of kit.
