    Hi Folks,

I'm looking for some advice, I am going to fly from Bangkok to Krabi and hope to see places like Ko Lanta and Ko Phi Phi and will fly from Phuket to Chang Mai. Basically I am going to have 10 days around this part of the world and wondered how best to split the time between the islands and what other places/islands in that region ye would recommend I go to?

    Cheers
    Mary :)

When you get to Krabi dont stay there as it is only a town. No beaches there. Ao nang, 20 mins in a taxi from Krabi, would be a good place to get to Lanta and Phi Phi. There are so many day tours to so many islands you wont know what to do and if you have the cash you can do it in any style you want. Phuket is similar to any island in southern europe and you wouldnt even know your on an island. I wounldnt spend much time there as another poster has said. I havent been to Lanta but Phi Phi is amazing but changing for the worse with development.

Just go with the flow. Head to Lanta, stay until you feel it's time to move, then head to Phi Phi. There will be no shortage of things to do.
