VW Golf side strips question

    Hi

    I would like to replace the black side strip on the doors of my golf with a silver (body coloured) strip..Also I'd like to replace the black door handles and mirrors with silver body coloured ones..Could anyone tell me if they have done this or can it be done? Many thanks for reading..

    Any decent panel beater should be able to sort you out once they have the exact colour code of the paint from your car.

    Mask, sand, prime, spray. You'd do it yourself in an afternoon.

    Hi..thanks for the replies..so all that needs to be done is get it sprayed? (i know very little about cars :P) .. Can the mirrors and door handles be sprayed too..?? would anyone be able to guess how much it would cost to get done? thanks

    To get a smooth finish on those it's labour intensive. A body shop would charge a fair whack for a proper job. Maybe a scrap yard might have a few crashed ones
