Pregnant?

My girlfriend's periods are normally like clockwork & exactly the same every month (on the pill). She used a different lower strength pill last month (she's used it before & no problems).

She got her period on the usual & expected day but lasted no more than 24hrs & was very light - you wouldn't even bother with a tampon/pad.

She doesn't want to bother with a test but I'm a bit freaked out. Has this happened to any other women?

Changing your pill can lead to many side-effects like lighter periods.

It's possible this has been caused by the change in pill, but if you're stressing about it and you can talk to her about these things, ask her to do a test just to put your mind at ease.

But be a gent and at least buy the test for her!

Actually yeah, if I somehow figure out getting one she'd prob be happier with that!

But has this sort of thing happened to others, how did it turn out?

I keep thinking it's all in my head

I'm sure it has happened loads of couples. Pregnancy scares are common. The pill can cause havoc, and stressing about it can throw the timing out too.

How does it turn out... well one of two ways really! Look go to the chemist buy a test, they're dirt cheap and get her to take it. That's the easiest possible way.

Got test from tesco's for about 6 euro.

Not pregnant, phew. At least we know if same thing happens next month

    Thanks

Good man! Lesson learned I guess. Saftey first and all that.
