Has anybody heard anything about this place?

It offers a few different courses. There are no exams involved in any of the courses - does this take away from the worth of the qualification?

Such a friendly bunch here lol

Squod they have dressed it up a lot, yes. That's the main reason I need info on it from anyone who has done it. Regardless of all their OTT marketing, they still claim to offer the necessary qualifications and the same ones as most of the other UK colleges seem to offer.

    In case anybody is interested...

I just discovered that it is an American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) approved provider

And I just found this info on the European Health & Fitness Association's website:

    European Institute of Fitness:

This private training provider is based in Javea, Spain. They offer the Diploma in Personal Training which is aligned to the following EHFA standards:
    • EQF Level 3 Fitness Instructor
    • EQF Level 3 Group Fitness Instructor
    • EQF Level 4 Personal Trainer
    • Sales and Marketing for Personal Training (optional unit)
They received EHFA accreditation in September 2007. The European Institute of Fitness offers their programme via direct delivery and distance learning.

I haven't done the course but know someone who has.

Seemed like a good course from what i was told, covered a lot of information, and you train actual clients while on the course, so its very practical.

As for the exams, i think its marked on continuous assessment, and because its practical based rather than written based, i don't think not having a written exam takes away from it.
