how important is recovery & good sleepin routine?

    Well how important is it? My sleep does be all over the shop, some days I wake up and go the gym and cant move, other days its opposite!
    Regarding giving your muscles a chance to recover, how long do they need?

    sorry about opening this tread and the other one about running, its just im only a newbie really and wanna gain some knowledge,

    Its what you do in the 23 hours that you're not in the gym that make the biggest difference.That refers to sleep (7/8 hours at least) ,diet and lifestyle.Without addressing all three you're merely wasting your time in the gym.
