Wireless Problem

    Hi guys,

    Dropped water on my laptop last night, dried it out and unbelieveably its working today, only thing is I must have damaged the internal wireless thingy. as now when I switch the button to wireless mode its not turning green, I can use the ethernet for now but there are wires everywhere and its cracking me up.

    any help greatly appreciated

    you should take out all internals and dry them near a radiator for a good few hours..

    by that i mean, the wlan card, mem modules, hdd, battery.

    just in case, the laptop might work now, but falling into water is usually the death warrant for circuit boards and IC's.

    You just need a precision screwdriver and ground yourself touching a radiator before taking that stuff out.
