    hi guys,
What with the gardaì being a bunch of moany strikers at the moment, if this don't improve within the gardaì, what are the chances of the defence force taking over policing of the country for a length of time.
Was just wondering as right now the last thing this country needs is a bunch of fat lazy men causing havoc.
    Cheers,
    DdeF.

No chance. Unless the country completely goes to ruin the gardaí will be in charge of policing. Martial Law would only come in in extreme cases.

If ags go on strike, it has been outlined that emergency cover will still be in place.
So there will still be gardai working, but strike action by ags would be terrible and is the last thing the country needs.

Highly doubt the DF would be used in a Policing role if the Guards went on strike. It would take alot for Martial Law to be implemented and a strike by Gardaí wouldnt warrant it.
Its a sad day that theyr considering striking at all but thats that

I see your using the "Stereotype" image of AGS there..Good one. I mean sure there are some overweight ones too but thats only a small %, you could watch an episode of Night Cops or Road Wars and see there are some right porkers in the UK Police too.

I'm undecided if I should report you as a troll or treat you and your view's of AGS with the contempt both deserve.

I hope someone here with a higher profile than I steps forward to distance your comments re. members of AGS with those of this forum.

Rabble rabble rabble, i hate de gardai  [/bullcrap]

I love people like you, you slate the Gardai in a general majority, yet you'll expect them to come save your ass once things go sour.
