    Hi.
I have purchased a good quality Pc based CCTV system. It came with a monitor and only a monitor output (vga). I have seen the pc to tv unit from Maplin in operation and I think the picture quality is poor. Can I upgrade the video card to give either an S-Video output or Rca Output for my modulator so I can put the pic on all Tv's in my house?
    Thanks

You could split the cables going in to the dvr and modulate each one. This way each camera would have it's own channel on the tv.
Alternatively you could use the vda converter

Dont bother just get a good quality VGA to BNC/Svideo output. They cost around 100 euro. Remember though that depending on the DVR the video out live might not be good quality anyways, thats why i dont like a lot of PC based DVR's. If youneed a link let me know ill post one..
