1999 Opel Astra GL XE 1.4

in good condition (slight damage to front bumper), drives very well.... the only real problem is that it has no current nct. it expired in july and had it booked in for October but got a new car before the date came up so never got it tested...

i've seen similar models for €2000+ on carzone. taking into account the lack of nct, any ideas on what i could realistically ask for this?

What mileage is up on it?

I'd give you circa €300 for it.

Its worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Personally I'd take the 300 euro like a shot!!!

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

NCT it and advertise it at 1500 and see what offers you get. If you can't be bothered, you'd be very lucky to get a grand for it. Probably a lot less. There's so many cheap cars out there with current NCT test, that no-one is gonna bother for a car without NCT unless it is an absolute bargain.

yeh i guess... well its actually my mam's old car so kinda depends what she wants to do with it.... maybe she'd be willing to just get rid of it for a few hundred quid!

Just to clarify, I wasn't offering €300, thats what I would offer IF I was.

Think of it this way, its worth what people offer.

And realistically, its a 10 (almost 11) year old car, with no NCT and damage to the front. To get anything over the €300 mark, you'd want to be doing some serious selling? Why not NCT it? It'll cost you €50, and you might get another €400 quid tacked onto the selling price.
