I've decided to get an iphone 3gs 32gb. Well its a present from my sister for my birthday in january but i can buy it anytime from now on and give it to her to keep until my birthday.

I'll be unlocking and jailbreaking it, as i want to stay with Meteor.
Now the question, should i buy it now and get a pre week 40 or will i wait until the start of January and maybe the un-tethered jailbreak will be available?

Any suggestions/comments will be appreciated.

geohot will not be realeasing untethered anytime soon. doesnt matter really if you get a post week 40 coz youre not gonna reboot often
