I note the prevalent opinion in Ireland (or maybe just the vocal opinion) is that EBB is a gimmick best disabled. I see on a few videos on the intertubes however that there are plenty of people out there who skirmish with EBB working.

So why is it that people advocate disabling EBB?

The advocation of disabling blowback was from the time of the G&G l85 and the army l85... it had some issues with the blowback due to the system employed, thus, most disabled it who wanted to skirmish those guns. Subsiquent designs however seem reliable enough. G&g toptechs are awesome skirmish guns as they are... the new CA Ebbs are likewise, Tm sopmods, all the other blowbacks are generally fine with it functioning.
    does that explain? :)
