    Hi All,

I have just joined the forum and been lurking the past few days, having a look to see whats the best way to go about installing FreeSat in my house.

We live in a house which is about 4 years old and currently are paying about 24 Euros a month for a piped service into the house it has about 14 channels --- RTE 1&2, BBCs, Chan 4, Sky News and a few other anonymous channels, we are getting a wee bit tired of this and sometimes the signal just breaks completely.

So we were going to go for Sky HD .. but we have three TVs .. 1 in the kitchen, 1 in a spare bedroom and 1 in the Living Room (a 40 in HD) but having multi-room would be expensive.

These are all connected to the sockets on the wall and the channels are piped to each tv, without any boxes.

After some investigation (mostly on this site) I would like to get freesat and a terrestrial aerial, from what I see the Humax Freesat 360 box seems to be the best.

Is it possible to set up the satellite dish and aerial so that they send the signal to each of the sockets in the house, then have a box with each tv (but not the Humax Freesat - just one of those!)

Would the MVision be better than the Humax - as its a combo? or is the Humax a combo as well?

I won't be doing the installation myself but have been in talks with a local guy .. I was thinking of getting him to put up the dish and the aerial then source the other gear myself .. he seemed to be pushing SKY boxes.

    thanks for any advice

    Sean
