    Hi,

I have a few TV shows that I would like to upload onto my Iphone. The AVI files are all around 350MB per Episode (standard definition), and I tried to convert them to the Iphone format with 2 different programs.

But in the end the quality on the Iphone was not great (pixelated etc.). The converted files were about 54MB each in the end.

What would be the best settings (Resolution/Frames/Bitrate) to convert them with? Any recommendations (also for alternative tools) would be much appreciated.

    Cheers,
    DubDani

I've used Mediacoder iPhone/Touch version with good results:

This is the best one I think, just select the iphone/ipod touch option and it will sort out the codecs and resolution for you.
It also converts many other file formats.

I've attached two screnshots of an episode of Top Gear converted form .avi to .mp4 using HandBrake:
