Sky " technical fault with this channel"

    Hi,
    I hope anyone can help me on this.
    Since last night the Sky in living room is showing no Channel at all, it just says " Couldn't find the signal", or " Technical fault try again", But sky in room is working fine.
    any ideas guys or is it just temporary fault.

    Try rebooting the sky box turn off power at electric socket or plug out power and leave for 1 min and then switch back on.

    Do you have a cordless phone in/near the room? I had a similar problem when I moved to a new place, just had to move the phone base to a room that wasn't in between the Sky box and satellite. Also, using the phone in the room caused the same problem.

    No don't have cordless ph in the same room, it was working perfectly last night and suddenly error came up, will try the reboot tonight.

    Funnily enough I had the no signal message last night on a Thomson Sky HD box. Reboot sorted it.

    Yeah just asked the missus to reboot and it's sorted now, thanks all.

    Happens here a couple of times a year. I recommend the reboot option.
