LAPTOP HELP NEEDED INTERNET EXPLORER GONE

    My laptop is acting the twat , It will not open internet explorer or any of the online help pages ,Is said that my connection is not knowed and MY firewall is down Will not allow me to restart firewall oreven scan my laptop , everything i do is meet with the following message



    Internet Explorer has closed this webpage to help protect your compter..


    A malfunctioning or malicious add ons has caused Internet Explorer to close this webpage

    have I a Virus
    Also how do I reboot and I take it a reboot is not the same as a restart.

    Not very good at tech stuff
    Any advice greatly appreciated
