Local Branches V's Telephone Banking

    In the past I've asked for certain facilities with my local bank i.e over draft or personal finance but have never been successful but when I'd ring 24hr banking I'd be approved in a couple of days. Wonder has anyone else came across similar with their banks.

    Personally find the branch better. If I call the customer service centre I'm usually left waiting on a call back,
    Depends on the bank I suppose.

    I'm with AIB. Been in a bank only once or twice in the last few years. All over the phone both to telephone banking and to the branch. Generally gets al my questions answered.

    I use internet to manage my day to day as well.
