Connect Wii to Internet using 3 broadband.

So i have just bought a Wii, and i was wondering how i can connect the Wii to the Internet properly using 3's mobile broadband via my laptop. I have all the correct components. The Wii, the Wii LAN Adapter that i purchased today in HMV and the Ethernet cable. I connected the Wii to the LAN adapter and the Ethernet to that and the other end to my laptop.

I can connect my XBOX 360 to the Internet no problem with 3 mobile broadband and play Xbox LIVE perfectly with no problems and minimal lag.

But tonight i have been a bit frustrated.

I plugged it all in and found that i went to settings > Internet > Connection Settings > Connection 1 as "Wired".
I chose "Connection Test" only to find that after testing it gives me an " Error Code: 51420. Unable to connect to internet. Please see the Wii Operations Manual or visit support.nintendo.com for assistance"

So i meandered in down to "Change Settings" and scrolled left with the blue arrows to notice that everything is set to default on "Auto-Obtain IP Address" (in advance settings).

    It's all; IP Address - 000.000.000.000
    Subnet Mask - 000.000.000.000
    Default Router - 000.000.000.000

Now i tried Auto detecting this all and still an error code.

So would anyone have the knowledge to help with this, or has anyone been able to have any success in connecting the Wii to the internet with the 3 (Or even O2 or Vodafone) mobile broadband USB's?

    Thanks! :D
