yeah if anyone has any good ones please let me know. i wouldnt mind paying for this as a whole what with all the other fights on it but often they dont show them due to time restrictions. When its ppv they should be able to let you view them all some way or other considering the cameras are there for every fight. anyway... enjoy the fight :)

What an improved fighter from the fight against Prescott. Freddie Roach is a legend, Khan can't help but learn from him.

Gotta hand it to Pintos he can stay very composed whilst taking punishment. He's got a lot of heart.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,972 ✭✭✭joepenguin

Bet Prescott didnt see any of this coming!!!
Options for Kahn... Defence of the belt, McLoskey wants a shot, but with talks of hatton, marquez, fighting in the states is this a possibility?
When does Kahn have to fight Maidina, isnt he mandatory. Then you have the other champs in the division and Erik Morales name was mentioned.

Khan is one of the fastest and most accurate boxers you will ever see and has more than decent power to add to it. He matches PBF for handspeed speed if you ask me.
Sure he's been flattened but no one seems too bothered now to recall the fact that a certain Manny Pacquaio was also brutally dispatched twice early in his carreer while fighting at a lower weight. His vulnerability adds to the appeal in a way. The step up in weight might have added a bit of punch resistance too.
Khan has the tools to cause problems for any of the guys out there and now he has Freddie Roach making him even better.
Salita was a genuine contender, albeit with not much power, but he didn't even get to throw a punch.
Khan is so good at such ayoung age that he is set to become one of the greatest ever british fighters with any bit of luck at all. I am ,and have been since the Olympics, a big Khan fan and i think a lot of his detractors are just anti-English or anti-Asian ,full stop.

He is certainly exciting, there is no denying that. And he has good power too. I think he could easily go on to be one of the greatest if Freddie can iron out his defence. His speed and power will test anyone. I for one will be following his career closely from now on. I think he'd make a laugh of Hatton too for what its worth.

Ricky is doing a decent job of that on his own right now:D
With Roach training him Khan would be too fast and tbh too strong for ricky. Khan is much bigger and all he has to do is move sideways and he'll avoid ricky. Barring a miracle hatton could end up being shredded inside 5 or 6 rounds. And i like Ricky too, he was a great warrior but he's not any more.

I was always a big fan of Ricky myself. I loved his aggressive come forward style. I was gutted when he was beat the first time by PBF and then again when Pac done him in. I always knew deep down that he was going to be beat by both but i so wanted him to succeed. Im a sucker for an underdog. He should just give it a rest now though. He is becoming an embarressment. With all the promoting nowadays everyone is seeing him for the lardy fat bloke he has become whereas before his profile was lower between fights. You couldnt take him seriously as an athlete now. He should just give up with his reputation somewhat intact.

Kahn fought in such a way that his chin wasnt tested against Kotelink which was a testament to freddies coaching and kahns abilities, as for tonights fight he wanst so much as tagged. This was just down to kahns amazing handspeed.

So the jury is out on his chin until he is in with someone good enough to land a clean shot on him. I doubt he'll have a wayne mccullough chin but even if its half decent he will go on to do great things.

That aside you cannot fault him and he always looks amazing, great speed, real good power which imo will improve, he is about to be pacmans sparring partner for one of the biggest fights ever, roach in his corner for the fights so its all looking good.

They still should be careful when matching him though. I have always thought that his oppossiton has always been spot on given his age and experience, they may want to cash in on the big names that wont be there forever like they did with Barerra. There is still Morales, Marquez, and Hatton.
