A number of sound affects appear to be no longer working on my iPhone 3G s.

For example, no sound from the keys when writing a text, no "swishing" sound when I slide the "unlock" function, and no "click" when I press the power button.

I must have switched something off but I can't find what it is.

    Anyone got a suggestion? Thanks.

I've just noticed that there's no sound when I receive a text??? Obviously something has switched off but in "Settings > Sounds >" everything is switched on.

Funny enough, when I select the option to change the sound for "New Text Message" the sound plays so I think that rules out a faulty speaker??

    I'm baffled!!!

Try reset by holding home button and power button for about 6 seconds. If that don't work plug into iTunes. Back it up and restore.

Check the Silent On/Off switch on the side. If you see a red dot, silent is on.

Just about to say that, A lot of people don't seem to know what the switch does.
